At least two people are dead following an explosion at a plant in Houston, Texas on Friday morning, according to Houston police chief, Art Acevedo.

The plant exploded, destroying the whole building, at around 4:25 a.m. at Watson Grinding and Manufacturing Co. in 4500 Gessner. Prior to the explosion, two employees were seen running from the building after smelling gas, according to the authorities.

Acevedo told residents within a mile in a press conference to “do a search around your home” for “any debris, any body parts, anything that may be related [to the incident].”

The cause is still under investigation.
